The objective of this step was to develop a new generation of tests to evaluate the antioxidant/detoxifying capacities of the active ingredient using sebum, RHE models as a biological matrix.

Different pollutants were induced (Singlet oxygen, ozone, smoke, heavy metals) into our models. The efficacy of your drug is tested by the evaluation of the level of lipid peroxidation and carbonylated proteins.

Synelvia set up new models from SiRNA, ShRNA, CRISPR technologies to knowdown regulated gene expression.

Non invasive sampling techniques

Non invasive sampling techniques for collection of surface lipids & surface biomarkers in the following matrices:

  • Sampling of skin sebum / face & body regions / head skin / hair
  • Sample collection for proteins, NMFs, mineral elements,..
  • Odorant molecules sampling from sweat

Synelvia , in collaboration with clinical partners, can supply ready-to-use sampling kits. These corporate kits include all the necessary material and reagents for correct sampling, associated logistics for samples transport, sampling management, etc… A training of experimentators can be performed on cinical site under Synelvia supervision.
